Why choose you to Film my Wedding?
When it comes to wedding videos there are no second chances! I'll provide you with a breath-taking wedding film. All the footage on this site was filmed by me, so you know exactly what to expect. I only take on a limited number of bookings, and dedicate time to ensuring the finished wedding film is the best it can be. Remember ‘big’ often means lots of weddings and lots of freelance employees. I have scarily high artistic standards and I only work with trusted family and colleagues.
Who’ll edit my Wedding film?
That’ll be me again. After the wedding is videoed the editing begins in my studio. While some videographers will have finished before you have even taken off on honeymoon, it is unlikely to have been edited with the care and attention you deserve. I take the time to ensure your wedding film is perfect and will only release the final cut masterpiece when we are 100% satisfied.
Wedding Video Price Jungle?
We do not offer bronze or gold packages, we do though offer the best package you deserve for one sensible price. (see our "Package Proposal" page) Some companies offer lower prices but can't compete on film quality or the customer service experience we provide. My price reflects the experience, equipment, time and skill needed for a professional wedding video.
Will you'r filming interfere?
We are discreet and unobtrusive and understand that we need to blend into your day without being the stars of the show! This allows us to capture the day as naturally as possible, without guests worrying about being on camera.
How long will my Wedding video be?
Your main feature film will capture every moment of your day, this will not just be a short highlights film it will be a comprehensive story of your day.
Can I have drone footage?
Yes please contact us for more details * additional costs and service to our standard package
Do you film outside of Northamptonshire?
We are based in Higham Ferrers Northamptonshire but operate nationally and internationally.
Do you only film Weddings?
Yes that's our passion but I also capture many films of my travels and you may enjoy our Video Vlog page on this website.
What are the payments required to confirm my booking?
We ask for a £250 non refundable booking fee to secure your booking. The balance is due no later than 2 weeks before your wedding day.
What if I cancel my booking?
There is a a non-refundable Booking fee of £250. This is regardless of the Customer cancellation circumstances. Any additional payments made are also non-refundable for cancellations less than 2 months prior to the event date. No outstanding balances, however, will be applicable.
Church Fees?
Most churches do charge for videographers to film your marriage, please ensure these costs have been discussed with the church and paid prior to you'r wedding day and approval for filming fully granted.
Do I need a photographer as well?
We are professional videographers not photographers, I would recommend you have both.
Do we need to feed you?
We really appreciate being asked and normally take a break when you and you'r wedding party are having your meal, we do not sit with your guests but will happily eat some food in a quite corner.
How long do you stay for.?
As our package describes we stay until I am happy every moment has been captured, this is normally achieved not long after your first dance.
Do you charge mileage to our venue?
No not a penny. However if you venue is over 3 hours from our base location then we would need accommodation booking for the evening before the Wedding and for the night of the Wedding, this does not need to be at the actual venue however.
Is it possible to film everyone at the wedding ceremony and reception?
It’s impossible to be able to guarantee that everyone will be filmed. As a general rule with my films, I try to shoot as many of the guests as I can. If you want me to make sure that a specific family member/friend is filmed, you must inform me before the wedding. If there is something you want filmed taking place at any point in the day or evening , please let me know ahead of time so that I can make arrangements in my schedule to capture it.
How is our Wedding film delivered?
Following a notification that your film is complete, your film will be delivered in a stylish presentation box, to your home address in person or by recorded delivery.
Can we buy the raw footage? How long do you keep a master copy of our film on file?
No, I do not sell the raw footage. A master copy of your film is kept for two years after your wedding date. After that period, I cannot guarantee that I will have a copy of your film. I recommend that you keep a copy of your film in a secure location to safeguard for future years. additional copies can be purchased for £70.00 as long as this is before the 2 year guarantee. Please refer to our terms and conditions for more details regarding your final edited film.
How do you edit our film?
The way I shoot and edit the film is by using candid camera and editing techniques. I try to capture the events of the day as unobtrusively as possible but edit using all the special effects you would expect to see on the big screen.
How will the audio (sound) be captured?
We use a number of sound recording methods. We use wireless microphones to capture the wedding vows during the Ceremony, we also use Shotgun Mics on our cameras to capture ambient sound throughout the wedding.
Will you coordinate with my photographer?
It is our pleasure to coordinate with your photographer and we actively seek to liaise with your photographer prior to and during the actual event. We both are their to do a professional job and often find both minds and idea's create a stunning wedding film/wedding album.
Can we select our own music?
We welcome your music input throughout the process but we may not use every song you suggest.
Do you include a highlights trailer?
Yes we will edit a highlights trailer that will be on both our website and your final film. We may also use your trailer as marketing material for other Brides and Grooms to see our work but we never share your completed film unless approved by you. *Your trailer may also not be available online after 3 months from your wedding day but should be downloaded to keep on your devices.
What are the copyright issues?
Where there are live performances from musicians at an event or in a place/venue where permission is required , it is the client’s responsibility to confirm beforehand whether you have their permission to film them. We are also licensed to use any artist's music on your film.
How much do you charge?
We feel our “One package One price” promise is the only way to go. No bronze or silver packages - only the very best. There are no hidden extra charges, what you see on our "Package Proposal Page" is all included in the price. Once you’ve had your wedding film booking confirmed you can breathe a sigh of relief and cross ‘wedding video’ off your list.
